Shipping and Return Policy


All of our breads are Sweet Sourdough and are offered in five (5) flavors: White, wheat, jalapeno-cheddar cheese, onion, and Italian.

We are a wholesale bakery and our breads are placed in large wholesale distributor warehouses across the U.S. for distribution. We are not provided a list of stores, restaurants, hotels, casinos, etc. of where our breads are sold or served, so we are unable to provide that type of information to you. We do not ship outside of the United States.

We do not have a storefront. To place an order, please visit our website at and click on “Shop Our Bakery”. All orders must be placed online on our website. We do not accept phone or fax orders. Please set up an account on our website before placing your order online. All orders are processed through PayPal. We do not accept checks or cash. All orders must be placed using a credit card transaction.

Upon checkout, in the Shipping box, you may choose to have your order delivered via UPS 2nd day delivery, or you may choose to come to our bakery and pick up your order. We bake to order, so you will need to place your order 3-4 days in advance if you plan to pick up your order. If so, you may come anytime of the day (24 hours a day) on your scheduled pick-up date to pick up your order. To assure freshness, please be sure your order is picked up on the scheduled pickup date. Your order will be ready in our monitored UPS/Customer pickup room, which is located to the left of our front doors — near the freezer trucks and wooden fence. Do not enter through the front offices, only through the UPS/Customer pickup room, then go upstairs. Find the box with your name on it on the “Customer” shelf.

If your order is being shipped, we only offer UPS 2nd day delivery, to assure freshness because our breads are perishable and have no preservatives. Your order is shipped out the same day that it is baked, which is shipped out between Mondays and Wednesdays. UPS does not deliver on the weekends, so we do not ship past Wednesday of any given week. Depending on when your order is placed, you can expect delivery of your order between Wednesday and Friday. When orders are placed for shipping, please allow 4-5 business days for production and delivery.

The minimum you can order is listed under each item in “Shop Our Bakery”. There is no maximum you can order. We do not offer “mix and match” of our breads. If you would like a variety, then you will need to order one of our 2 bread baskets, which are the first 2 items listed under “Shop Our Bakery”.

At Sweet Mesquite Bakery, we are committed to quality. To us, ensuring that you receive quality products means not only that our incomparable product be sent to you soon after we bake it, but that it is also sent via a reliable, express service. After all, you ordered fresh bread and we strive to provide to you with the freshest possible.

We also know how important it is for you to receive your order, or to have your gift received, on time. For these reasons, we selected UPS as our sole shipping service provider. We use their 2- Day service so our products arrive fresh and on time.

In addition to a reliable and timely delivery service, we also want to provide you with the best shipping rates we can. As a policy, we do not view Shipping & Handling fees as another source of income. After all, we are a bakery, not a transportation company. Consequently, our standard shipping charges represent the average prices and discounts that we receive from UPS.

If “Store Pick-up” is selected, please allow 3-4 business days, excluding weekends and holidays, before picking up your order.

When orders are placed for shipping, please allow 4-5 business days for production and delivery.
